False – Mardi Gras is the city’s biggest parade, but the Christmas parade is a big event, too.

7. For Réveillon, restaurants offer traditional French cuisine, to celebrate New Orleans’s French heritage.
False – Many restaurants offer Creole dishes for Réveillon.

9. In the Garden District, you can look at the exterior of the homes, but you can’t go inside.
False – Many families open their homes to visitors, so the public can enjoy the beautiful decorations inside the homes.
